At the TGS 2024 event, S-Game had a playable demo for its upcoming action RPG, Phantom Blade Zero. Not only that but the TGS 2024 demo was running on the PC, giving us PC gamers a first look at the WIP PC version. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
As said, Phantom Blade Zero is an action RPG. The game will feature fast-paced combat and a fictitious world blending Chinese martial arts and steampunk elements.
At first, we all thought that this was yet another Souls game. However, that won’t be the case. Instead, players will have at their disposal various combos to use. They will also be able to stagger their enemies, similarly to Sekiro. So, in a way, it will be a mix of Devil May Cry and Sekiro.
Phantom Blade Zero will be using Unreal Engine 5. Now I don’t know the settings that were used in the TGS 2024 demo. I also don’t know the PC that was used. However, it appears that the game was running smoothly. So, it’s at least good to know that it runs fine on high-end PC systems.
There is currently no ETA on when the game will come out. Still, I’m really hyped about it. From the moment I saw it, I was interested in it. And, thankfully, it keeps getting better and better.
In short, I won’t be surprised if this turns out to be another “Black Myth: Wukong” success story. Everything about it looks great. So, let’s hope that S-Game won’t drop the ball at the last minute.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
