It appears that a new gameplay video for Armored Core 6 has been leaked online, showcasing over one minute of PVP action. This video will give you a glimpse of the PVP mode for this new mecha game from the creators of Elden Ring and Dark Souls, so be sure to check it out.
As we can see, Armored Core 6 will feature a lock-on mechanic in its PVP arena mode. From what we can see, players will be able to use it at will. Additionally, players will be able to dash in order to avoid enemy missiles.
In Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, players will assemble and pilot their own mech with 3D maneuverability to move freely through three dimensional fast-paced missions. Players will take on difficult challenges and overwhelm their enemies with dynamic movements that make full use of ranged and melee combat.
According to its Steam store page, the game will be using the Arxan, Easy Anti-Cheat DRM. And, from the looks of it, this highly anticipated action title will not be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.
Bandai Namco will release this new Armored Core game on August 25th. The publisher has also revealed its minimum PC system requirements. According to these PC specs, the game will at least need an Intel Core i5-8600K or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X with 12GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon RX 480 or Intel Arc A380.
What’s also interesting here is that Armored Core 6 will be the first game with native support for 120fps. The game will also have Ray Tracing effects. However, these RT effects will be only available in your garage, and not during gameplay. Yeah, that sucks.
Anyway, I don’t know why the Japanese Youtuber deleted this video. Perhaps there is an embargo for all PVP videos regarding Armored Core 6? Nevertheless, those interested can go ahead and watch this leaked video below.
Enjoy!
Deleted/Private video from a JP YouTuber showcasing content that wasn’t allowed to be shown. Lock-on can be broken and as confirmed by our ACL folks, PvP/Arena will have no repair kits.
