It appears that a short gameplay clip for Ubisoft’s upcoming AC game, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, has been leaked online. This low-quality video lasts 3 seconds, and shows Basim running. So yeah, don’t expect much from it.
In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, players will experience the story of Basim, a cunning street thief seeking answers and justice as he navigates the bustling streets of ninth-century Baghdad.
Now while this is a low-res video, it does look like an Assassin’s Creed game. Basim’s running animation seems similar to Eivor’s. Furthermore, we can see some cloth physics. So yeah, this does appear to be a legit leak. I also got some Black Flag-vibes from its environments, so that’s interesting.
Sony will hold a PlayStation Showcase next week, so we might get a new gameplay trailer for this new Assassin’s Creed game during it. And, if that doesn’t happen, we can safely assume that Ubisoft will release a new trailer at the Summer Game Fest 2023 event.
Let’s not forget that it has been 8 months since the last time we heard about Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Also, and from what we know so far, Ubisoft still plans to release this AC game in 2023.
Stay tuned for more!
