Similarly to Activision, Ubisoft has released the official launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey one and a half week prior to its release. Launch trailers are meant to go live on launch day but it appears that some publishers feel the need to remind us about it so I guess they could list these trailers as… pre-launch trailers?
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will let players experience incredible adventures in a world where every choice matters. Players will be able to play as Alexios or Kassandra and the game will offer a new dialogue system.
Naval combat will also return in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as players can take a ship and explore the islands of ancient Greece. Naval combat will be more fast-paced, more closed-range and more intense than before. People will shoot javelins and arrows and the boats will have very high accelerations so that they can be more mobile.
The game will also feature two game modes: Guided and Exploration. In Guided Mode markers will be displayed at all times and quest objectives will be given to players automatically. On the other hand, in Exploration Mode, the player will have to investigate the world to uncover targets and quest objectives.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is coming out on October 5th!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
