Digital Dreams has shared a video, showcasing Assassin’s Creed Origins looking impressively beautiful in 8K with Reshade Ray Tracing. In order to capture this 8K gameplay footage, Digital Dreams used an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 with an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X.
Now what’s cool here is that the YouTuber has also included some comparison scenes at the beginning of this video. As such, you can see for yourselves the improvements that this Reshade Mod brings to the table.
The most notable difference is the more realistic colors that the modded version looks. Darker scenes also look better thanks to Reshade Ray Tracing. Take a look at the comparison scene at 0:50. Not only that, but some environments also gave me some “Assassin’s Creed: Unity” vibes. IMO, Unity still remains one of the best-looking Assassin’s Creed games to date. And, at 4:25, you can definitely see how close to it Origins can now get.
Lastly, and speaking of 8K videos, you may be also interested in these other videos. For instance, here are Just Cause 3, GTA 5 and Crysis 3 running in 8K. You can also find Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Skyrim in 8K. Let’s also not forget the 8K videos for Red Dead Redemption 2, Batman Arkham Knight, Battlefield 1 & Metal Gear Solid 5, as well as Diablo 3, Battlefield Bad Company 2, COD: Modern Warfare, RIDE 4, Halo Remaster, Forza Horizon 5, The Witcher 3, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Monster Hunter Rise and Horizon Zero Dawn.
Enjoy!
