As we’ve already reported, a new version of the most promising Xbox 360 emulator, Xenia, has been released. Thus, below you can find some videos showing a number of X360 games running on it.
To be more precise, below we can see Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Asura’s Wrath, Lost Odyssey, Silent Hill: Downpour and Anarchy Reigns running on Xenia. Some of these games run fine, while others are only booting and going in-game.
For instance, the first stage in Asura’s Wrath appears to be working fine and Lost Odyssey also appears to be running great. Gears of War 2 also appears to be running great, though it has some performance issues. On the other hand, while Fable 2 can go in-game, it has major framerate drops and graphical glitches.
It’s pretty obvious that Xenia is progressing nicely, something that will please a lot of PC gamers. Seriously, Gears of War 2 is almost playable at this point. As such, I’m pretty certain that we’ll be able to play all the classic Gears of War games by the end of 2019.
It will also be interesting to see whether there will be any additional performance improvements for Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar’s open-world title boots on both Xenia and RPCS3, so we are curious to see which emulator will be the one that will properly run it. By properly, I mean without any graphical glitches and with a stable framerate.
But anyway, enjoy the following videos and stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
