As we’ve reported, Battlefield Portal will feature re-imagined maps from older Battlefield games. And Cycu1 has released two videos in which they compare Battlefield 2042 with Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3.
The first video compares three maps: Valparaiso, Africa Harbor and Caspian Border. On the other hand, the second video features some early gameplay comparisons.
These videos will give you an idea of the graphical improvements that the latest version of Frostbite brings to the table. It will also give you a glimpse at some artistic changes in these maps.
Battlefield 2042 is a first-person shooter that will be focusing on multiplayer action. Thus, the game will not feature any traditional single-player modes. The game also promises to feature a cutting-edge arsenal into dynamically-changing battlegrounds supporting 128 players. Additionally, it aims to include unprecedented scale, and epic destruction.
Battlefield 2042 will release on October 22nd and will be using NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex techs.
Enjoy!
