Rosebud Games has released a new teaser trailer today for its upcoming open-world horror title, Death in Candlewood. Between gothic graveyards, Slender-like forests and occasional terrifying assaults by ghoulish creatures, this is the first sneaky peek at what it’ll be like to play this Edgar Allan Poe-influenced horror FPS.
Death in Candlewood was originally developed by the Rosebud team as a side project alongside their other game development jobs, but as the game grew and became more and more rich, the devs turned to Kickstarter to crowdfund the final stages. The campaign has just over one week left to go, and could really use some support.
Producer Toni Sanchez said:
“The Kickstarter campaign has been challenging, but we really believe in Death in Candlewood and want to make it something special. If anyone else agrees, we’d love them forever if they could chip in and help us make this dream a reality.”
Enjoy!
