Level Infinite and TiMi Studio Group have released the first gameplay trailer for Delta Force: Hawk Ops. And… well… this doesn’t look anything like the old Delta Force games.
Delta Force: Hawk Ops will be a free-to-play multiplayer FPS. The developers have stated that they aim to capture the spirit of the FPS Godfather whilst bringing it right up to date with all the very latest (and near future) technology. However, this first gameplay trailer will not please the old-school Delta Force fans.
To its credit, Delta Force: Hawk Ops seems a bit more tactical than Call of Duty. And I know. The trailer claims that its gameplay does not represent the quality of the final product. However, you can easily spot animations and features that are already in most common FPS games. The vault animations are similar to those of COD. Reload animations also felt like something you’d see in Call of Duty.
In conclusion, I don’t see why this game is called “Delta Force”. It feels more like a new F2P FPS game, and nothing more. So yeah, that kind of sucks.
Anyway, watch the trailer and tell me your thoughts!
