Activision and Bungie have released the official Destiny 2 PC launch trailer. This trailer features gameplay footage captured from the PC version. The game will come with lots of PC features, and will be available exclusively via Battle.net.
Going into more details, Destiny 2 PC will feature an uncapped framerate, support for 4K resolutions and adjustable Field of View. In addition, PC gamers can expect support for mouse and keyboard with custom key mapping and text chat. Third-party overlay monitor tools – like MSI Afterburner – will not work properly according to Bungie. However, the game will feature an FPS counter, and PC gamers will be able to set a framerate target option via the configuration files. Last but not least, the game will come with detailed PC settings screen and 21:9 monitor support.
The open PC beta for Destiny 2 ran incredibly well on a variety of PC configurations. As such, we can safely say that Destiny 2 PC will be one of the most optimized games in 2017. Of course things can easily go South, however we are pretty sure that Vicarious Visions will not drop the ball.
Enjoy the Destiny 2 launch trailer and stay tuned for more!
