First gameplay trailer for open-world extraction shooter, Exoborne

Level Infinite and Sharkmob have released the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming tactical open-world extraction shooter, Exoborne. Alongside the trailer, the team confirmed Exoborne’s presence at this year’s gamescom at the Level Infinite booth as well as an upcoming closed Beta test.

Exoborne is currently in development for PC and consoles and is coming in 2025.

As said, Exoborne is a tactical open-world extraction shooter. The game will be set in an apocalyptic U.S. transformed by extreme forces of nature gone wild.

Exoborne will drop groups and teams of players into a hostile online world where they take on the role of Reborn, extraordinary survivors able to use powerful Exo-Rigs in a world plagued by warring factions, deadly elemental chaos, and other hostile Reborn.

Utilizing their Exo-Rig abilities, Reborn can survive the fierce forces of nature and channel that raw power into combat and movement. Public events, ever-changing threats by the world itself, and risky missions let players write their own stories each time they enter the world.

One of the big features of Exoborne will be its nature and weather. As the press release reads, players will fight through elemental chaos in a world that constantly changes the conditions.

To be honest, I’m not a fan of extraction shooters. So, this isn’t my cup of tea. Still, if you fancy this type of games, you should at least watch its gameplay trailer.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
