Bandai Namco has released the first gameplay trailer for Jumanji: The Video Game. In addition, the publisher has announced that the game’s release date has been moved up by a week to November 8th for all platforms.
As the press release reads, players will unite in adventure and laughter in the action-packed game of Jumanji. Players will try to survive the ultimate challenge for those seeking to leave their world behind.
Jumanji is a 3D action adventure game in which you can play as movie heroes Dr. Bravestone, Ruby, Mouse, and Prof. Shelley. The game features online or split-screen modes with up to three players or AI teammates.
Jumanji will be using Unreal Engine 4 and goes for a cartoon-ish look. It looks okay for a movie tie-in, though it’s not bringing anything new to the table. Still, it could be really fun, especially if you have friends that are willing to play it.
Enjoy!
