A couple of weeks ago, we shared some videos from the closed alpha testing phase of Battlefield 2042. And a couple of days ago, YouTube’s ‘COD 2042’ (ironic, I know) shared a new video, showing five minutes of gameplay footage from it.
The Closed Alpha (also known as Technical Playtest) used grey box environments that are far from final. As such, the following video does not represent the quality of the final product. Still, it can give you an idea of how the game plays (in its current state). Moreover, EA and DICE plan to launch an Open Beta at a later date.
Battlefield 2042 is a first-person shooter that will be focusing on multiplayer action. Thus, the game will not feature any traditional single-player modes. The game also promises to feature a cutting-edge arsenal into dynamically-changing battlegrounds supporting 128 players. Additionally, it aims to include unprecedented scale, and epic destruction.
Battlefield 2042 will release on October 22nd and will be using NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex techs.
Enjoy!
