GameInformer has released a new video, showcasing 17 minutes of gameplay footage from Ubisoft’s The Crew Motorfest. This new The Crew game feels like a new Forza Horizon game, and this gameplay video can give you a glimpse at its vehicle driving mechanics.
The Crew Motorfest promises to build on the legacy of The Crew franchise to make it the best open-world action-driving experience in the series. Players will race through the city streets of Honolulu, go down the ashy volcano slopes, and adventure deep in the lush rainforest. Moreover, they can drift along the curvy mountain roads, or just chill down on the sunny beach.
I really hope that this new open-world racing game won’t have any rubber-banding AI. This was one of the things that frustrated me with Forza Horizon 5. And while I get the idea behind it (to provide more “thrilling” races), it became a joke witnessing the AI cars hitting speeds you can’t possibly get, no matter what your vehicle upgrades.
Ubisoft will release The Crew Motorfest on September 14th. And, as we’ve already reported, Motorfest will be available via Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect at launch. It’s also worth noting that Ubisoft has not revealed yet the game’s official PC system requirements.
Enjoy the following gameplay video for The Crew Motorfest and stay tuned for more!
