Perfect World Entertainment and Gunfire Games have released a new video, showing around 30 minutes of gameplay footage from the PAX West build of Remnant: From the Ashes. Remnant: From the Ashes is a third-person survival-action game that is developed by the Darksiders 3 developers and is set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by mythical creatures.
The game promises to provide players and up to three of their friends with a unique, customizable gameplay experience filled with intense shooting and melee combat, gear and weapon crafting, character progression and dynamically-generated levels that offer an infinite number of ways to explore and take on deadly monsters and epic bosses.
Unfortunately, this video has been severely compressed and from what we can see we can’t find anything impressive (visual-wise). Still, it looks like a fun game so it remains to be seen whether it will be able to offer a meaningful single-player campaign mode or not.
Remnant: From the Ashes is currently planned for a 2019 release!
