The Farm 51 has released a new video, showing 30 minutes of pre-alpha gameplay footage from the STALKER-inspired survival game, Chernobylite. While still in a pre-alpha stage, this video will give you a small idea of what the team aims to create.
Chernobylite is a science-fiction, survival horror single-player experience, mixing free exploration of its disturbing world with challenging combat, unique crafting, and non-linear storytelling. As a player, you’ll have to survive and reveal the twisted secrets of Chernobyl in the 3D-scanned recreation of the real Exclusion Zone.
The Farm 51 has also launched a Kickstarter campaign for Chernobylite that will let it collect some extra funds to do location expansions for the game and add some extra features that it initially wanted. Also, and since a pre-alpha demo is available to all backers, it will allow it gather the feedback on the first versions of the project and to develop it according to community opinions.
I’m pretty sure that a lot of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans will appreciate what The Farm 51 aims to create, so go ahead and watch the video below.
Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
