The team behind the best emulator for Playstation 3, RPCS 3, has released a brand new version of it and YouTube’s ‘Zangetsu’ shared two videos showing Heavy Rain and Bleach: Soul Resurreccion running on it.
As we can see, and while there are major performance issues, these two games can be played on this latest version of RPCS 3. Heavy Rain is described as semi-playable due to some Sixaxis issues that haven’t been resolved as of yet.
On the other hand, and despite some shadow issues and some performance issues, Bleach: Soul Resurreccion is almost completely playable on this new version of RPCS 3.
As said, emulation is not perfect and it will take a while until these – as well as other – games are fully playable on it. Still, this is great progress.
Enjoy!
UPDATE:
YouTube’s ‘Bahax PC Gaming’ has also shared a video, showing Ni no Kuni running on the latest version of RPCS 3!
