IGN has shared a video, showing six minutes of gameplay footage from the upcoming multiplayer tactical space-based shooter, Boundary. Boundary feels similar to Futuremark’s Shattered Horizon, so make sure to watch this video if you were fans of that title.
Boundary will put players in the role of a heavily armed astronauts in space engaging in fierce zero gravity firefights. The game will feature fully customizable loadouts, weapons and ammo types. Furthermore, there will be 6 classes of Astronaut for players to choose from in multiple game modes.
The modes that will be available at launch are: Free For All, Team Deathmatch, Facility Capture, and Orbital Purge modes. In case you’re wondering, Facility Capture and Orbital Purge will be based around Domination and Elimination gameplay.
As we’ve already reported, Boundary will feature real-time Ray Tracing effects on the PC. However, it appears that those effects may be too expensive if the game’s official benchmark tool is anything to go by.
Boundary is currently planned for a 2020 release on the PC, and you here are also its official PC system requirements.
Enjoy!
