Resident Evil 3 Remake is almost upon us, and IGN has shared another gameplay video. This video features the first sixteen minutes of the game, including cutscenes. Just remember that the video contains opening spoilers, obviously.
So far, Resident Evil 3 Remake is doing okay regarding ratings. However the previous title, Resident Evil 2 Remake, did much better. This is probably due to the game’s length. Resident Evil 3 Remake is about 5-8 hours, when the previous title was about 10-13 hours for both playthroughs with Leon and Claire.
The game is more action focused this time around and it does not have multiple endings or the Mercenaries Mode. Lastly, the title does not feature any action-choice mechanism like those found in the original version of Resident Evil 3. Hence, the replayability issue people are mentioning.
You can watch the first 16 minutes of Resident Evil 3 Remake below. Stay tuned for John’s performance analysis and Nick’s review.
Resident Evil 3 Remake will be available this Friday the 3rd.
Thanks IGN.
Chris was born in the early 80’s along with the very birth of home gaming. After spending many maaany drachmas on arcades, his father decided to buy him a PC instead of going bankrupt. He lived through the advancing and development of the gaming industry, having played TONS of games on all platforms. He is always honest and will never hesitate to give his true opinion on a game no matter what. Loves stealth games and dislikes microtsansactions, DLC and pre-ordering…who doesn’t after all?!
