YouTube’s member ‘Anders Lundbjork’ has shared a video, showcasing what The Witcher 3 would look like in 32bit consoles. It’s a really lovely demake that will put a smile on your face, especially if you miss those early Voodoo 3DFX days.
Now obviously this demake features unfiltered graphics. This is how games looked back in the Windows 95/98 days in software mode. All of the 32-bit console ports, like Tomb Raider, Legacy of Kain, Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid looked like this on PC in software mode.
This demake shows a sliiiiiightly different intro of the game. It’s hilarious (especially its ending) so kudos to Lundbjork.
Speaking of demakes, there is a cool Bloodborne demake with Zelda-like graphics that you can download. You can also find a video demake for Cyberpunk 2077.
Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
