As we’ve already reported, Warner Bros has lifted the review embargo for Gotham Knights. So, below you can find a video, showcasing the game running in native 8K with Ultra settings and Ray Tracing on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090.
In order to capture this footage, we used an Intel i9 9900K with 16GB of DDR4 at 3800Mhz and NVIDIA’s RTX 4090 Founders Edition. We also used Windows 10 64-bit, and the GeForce 522.25 driver.
At native 8K with Max Settings, the NVIDIA RTX 4090 is able to offer 30fps with drops to 25fps. Again, keep in mind that we’re talking about 8K with Ray Tracing.
The game supports NVIDIA’s DLSS 2 tech so, in theory, we could increase overall performance in 8K. However, and given its performance issues with framerates higher than 30fps, we suggest sticking with a 30fps lock. That is unless you enjoy major stutters and hitching while driving.
Gotham Knights releases tomorrow, and we’ll have a day-1 PC Performance Analysis article for it.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
