YouTube’s member ‘Bradley’ has shared a video showing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild running in 4K with 60fps in CEMU. In order to achieve something like that, Bradley used an unreleased beta version of Xalphenos’s 60fps patch.
According to reports, this unreleased beta version of Xalphenos’s 60fps patch also increases performance, meaning that the game can now be enjoyed with 60fps even in really demanding areas (like the outdoor areas).
There is still no ETA for when this new version of Xalphenos’s 60fps patch will be released. From the looks of it, there are currently two bugs (skip issues during paragliding and stamina being replenished too fast) that Xalphenos is trying to fix before releasing it.
In case you weren’t aware of, Xalphenos’s 60fps patch unlocks the framerate of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, allowing PC gamers to enjoy this new Zelda game with 60fps in CEMU. Ironically, the emulated version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will most likely turn into the definitive version of the game as both the WiiU and the Nintendo Switch versions are running with a 30fps locked framerate.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
