YouTube’s ‘reznoire’ has shared a new video, showing the first Uncharted game running on the best PS3 emulator, RPCS3. While the game is still far from being playable, RPCS3 manages to emulate its graphics almost perfectly. There are some minor glitches and missing graphics however the game looks almost identical to the original PS3 version.
Now while the game is not playable yet – due to a low framerate – its emulation progress is incredible. There are significant performance improvements and by the end of 2018 we may be able to emulate the game at a reasonable framerate.
The first Uncharted was not that visually impressive as its sequel, 2 and 3. As such, it will be interesting to see whether when these games will be emulated, and whether they will receive 60fps patches. It will take a while, however, there will most likely be a day when PC gamers will be able to enjoy all the Uncharted games in 4K with 60fps.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
