Aliens: Fireteam Elite releases in a few days and Reddit’s AVPMARINE shared two videos, showing what the game would look like as a first-person shooter.
In order to create these videos, AVPMARINE used some debug tools to fit the camera in a first-person perspective. As AVPMARINE specifically said, he didn’t create any FPS mod for it. He simply experimented with the game’s FOV and debug tools.
Ironically, the end result is pretty good and I’m certain that a lot would love to play the game with this FPS mode. Thus, I’m almost certain that a modder will release an FPS mod for this game pretty soon.
Aliens is a co-op third-person survival shooter that is set in the iconic Alien universe, 23 years after the original Alien trilogy. You play as a fireteam of hardened marines fighting to contain the Xenomorph threat. Players will face overwhelming odds against many enemy types, including numerous different Xenomorphs. Additionally, players will be able to ambush and outsmart all of the game’s enemies.
The game releases on August 24th and its day-one patch will add a Horde Mode. Here are also its official PC system requirements.
Enjoy!
