Genshin Impact is a game that took the world by storm when it came out in 2020. It’s also one of the most successful games using the Unity Engine. However, have you ever wondered what the game could look like in Unreal Engine 5? Well, time to find out. Bilibili’s “Steam Cat Marterio” has shared a concept video, showcasing exactly that.
As said, this is a concept video and nothing more. And, to his credit, Steam Cat Marterio was able to retain the game’s art style. This does look like Genshin Impact with somewhat better visuals/graphics. The lighting in particular looks better than what Genshin Impact uses.
I just hope that we’ll get this kind of graphics (or even better) when – and if – miHoYo releases a sequel to Genshin Impact. That of course won’t happen anytime soon as Genshin Impact was one of the highest-grossing games of 2022.
Lastly, and speaking of Unreal Engine 5, we suggest taking a look at these other fan remakes. Right now, you can download a Superman UE5 Demo, a Halo 3: ODST Remake, and a Spider-Man UE 5 Demo. Moreover, these videos show Resident Evil, Star Wars KOTOR and Counter-Strike Global Offensive in UE5. Additionally, you can find a Portal Remake and an NFS3 Remake. And finally, here are Half Life 2 Fan Remake, World of Warcraft remake, GTA San Andreas Remake, Doom 3 Remake, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, God of War Remake and GTA IV Remake.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
