YouTube’s “ElAnalistaDeBits” has shared a comparison video between Dead Island 2’s environments and their real-life locations. This video will give you a glimpse at how close to the real-world locations Dead Island 2’s environments actually are.
Now as I’ve said, Dead Island 2 looks absolutely gorgeous on PC. And, this comparison video is proof of those claims. The game looks consistently amazing thanks to its pre-baked lighting. And, as you can see in the following comparison, it can match its real-life locations.
Dead Island 2 is also one of the few games that ran smoothly on launch day. Although it uses Unreal Engine 4, it can scale on a wide range of PC configurations. Hell, the game even uses the Denuvo anti-tamper tech, yet still runs great on PC.
A few days ago, Deep Silver revealed that the game sold over one million copies in its first three days. And, considering its polished state, it more than deserved those sales.
Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
