YouTube’s ‘Digital Dreams’ has shared a video, showcasing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim running in 8K with NVIDIA DLSS 3 Frame Generation and over 2000 mods.

For those wondering, Digital Dreams used PureDark’s DLSS 3 Mod. So, no. There isn’t any free DLSS 3 Mod for Skyrim that you can download. It’s a shame but hey, it is what it is.

What’s also disappointing here is that the YouTuber has not shared the list of mods he used. I mean, he did share the Nolvus Modlist but in the description, he said that he had issues with it. So I’m assuming that this video is not with that modlist? And if that’s the case, what were the 2000 mods that were used?

Anyway, this video can at least give you an idea of how Skyrim can run at 8K with DLSS 3 Frame Generation on a high-end PC system. To capture this gameplay footage, the YouTuber used an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090. And, although there isn’t any framerate counter, Skyrim appears to be running smoothly.

Speaking of Skyrim Special Edition, we also suggest taking a look at these other mods for it. In theory, the following mods should be compatible with it. This Call of Duty Mod adds to the game 12 new fully functional weapons from it. Then we have this mod that adds to Skyrim over 7000 voiced lines via AI. There is also this mod that adds to the game The Witcher 3 Ciri/Geralt Voices. Another cool mod is this one that adds destructible objects to the game. Oh, and let’s also not forget this mod that adds unlimited dynamic light sources.

There are also some big fan expansions for it. Wyrmstooth is one of them, adding new quests and dungeons to the game. This other mod brings elements from The Witcher games into Skyrim. Dragon Hall Tavern is a huge 2GB mod that adds quests, new places, an arena, and more. Then there’s  Land of Vominhem, Apotheosis and Legacy of the Dragonborn. Don’t forget to also check out this Castlevania-inspired mod. Oh, and here is another one that adds the cool Nemesis system from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor to it. Lastly, we have this mod that adds six new islands to explore.
