Nintendo has officially released The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom on the Nintendo Switch. As we’ve mentioned before, the game can already be played on the Nintendo Switch emulator, Ryujinx. So, here’s a video showing 10 minutes of it running on an NVIDIA RTX 4090, with over 120fps. Yup, you read that right. You can play this new Zelda game with really high framerates.
To capture this gameplay footage, YouTuber reznoire used an Intel Core i9-14900K with 32GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 4090. He also used Ryujinx 1.1.1398. This is the latest public version of the emulator which you can download from its official website.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom uses a top-down view, like the classic SNES games. This time, players control Zelda, who is on a mission to save Link and protect the kingdom of Hyrule. To help her on this journey, Zelda uses the Tri Rod, a magical tool given to her by a fairy named Tri, who guides her along the way.
As I’ve already said, I’m not surprised that Ryujinx can run this latest Nintendo Switch game so smoothly. After all, this has happened with many Nintendo Switch games before. Games like Red Dead Redemption, Bayonetta 3, Monster Hunter Rise, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, and Pikmin 4 were all playable on PC as soon as they came out.
All in all, PC gamers will, once again, get the best experience in yet another Nintendo Switch game. It’s ironic really. Just imagine the amount of money Nintendo would be making if it was porting its games to the PC. Because, right now, the Big N cannot do anything to take down Ryujinx. They were lucky with Yuzu. But Ryujinx appears to be in a safe place.
Needless to say, we won’t be sharing any ROM links to the game. So, don’t bother sharing one in the Comment section. Your comment will be deleted if you do so.
Enjoy the video!
