Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Shadows that focuses on all the tech PC features that it will be using. This trailer also gives us our first look at the game’s Ray Tracing effects (which will be RTGI and RT Reflections).
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be powered by the latest version of the Anvil Engine. The game will have dynamic seasons and weather, aiming to change the landscape and your strategy. It will also have destructible environments, as well as dynamic wind and environmental particles.
On PC, players can expect support for DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1 and XeSS 2 at launch. There will also be a built-in benchmark tool to test your PC. Plus, the game will support ultra-wide monitors.
From a technical viewpoint, I’m curious to see what this new AC game will bring to the table. For this title, Ubisoft has partnered with Intel. So, in theory, we can expect good CPU scaling across various CPUs.
Let’s also hope that the game won’t suffer from any stutters. All the previous AC games had traversal stutters. To its credit, Mirage did not have as many as Origins, Odyssey or Valhalla did.
Ubisoft will release Assassin’s Creed: Shadows on PC on March 20th. As we’ve already reported, the game will be also using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. You can also find its official PC system requirements here.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
