Madmind Studio, the team behind AGONY and SUCCUBUS, has released a 12-minute Gamescom 2023 gameplay video for Paranoid. Paranoid is a horror game that will attempt to combine an “extensive, psychological story with dynamic and brutal combat.”
Paranoid targets a 2023 release date and in this latest gameplay video it looks kind of rough. The enemy AI and animations are mediocre, and the graphics are not even up to what we got in AGONY or SUCCUBUS.
I don’t know what’s going on, but I was certainly not impressed by this gameplay video. Still, horror fans may find it interesting which is why I’ve decided to share it with you.
Lastly, here are the game’s key features that Madmind listed on its Steam store page.
- Dynamic, intense, and brutal combat
- Executions by weapons and environment
- Melee weapons and guns
- Puzzles
- Balancing between paranoia and reality
- Terrifying enemies
- A multi-threaded storyline that combines psychological horror with action and survival
- Realistic visuals
- Disturbing atmosphere mixing psychosis and surrealism
