Crimson Desert impressed a lot of people with its visuals when Pearl Abyss initially revealed the game in 2019. And while the game has been delayed, a new gameplay video has been leaked online, showcasing the graphics of its current beta build.
This gameplay video packs 2 minutes of gameplay footage. Moreover, it shows off the game’s snow deformation effects, as well as its weather effects. There are also some cool wind physics effects that are beyond what other games have achieved.
Crimson Desert is an upcoming open-world action-adventure game, featuring an epic-fantasy world. In a war for survival, three tribes will fight for control of the Pywell continent. Jason Jung, former game design director of RYL Online, is behind this project. Working alongside Jason Jung on RYL Online was Dae-il Kim, the founder of Pearl Abyss. Moreover, Eter Lee, former Lead Combat Designer of RYL Online and C9, is in charge of the action combat system for the title.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
