Cyberpunk 2077 fans, here’s something for you today. A team of modders is currently working on a multiplayer mod for Cyberpunk 2077. Titled CyberMP, this mod will allow you to play CDPR’s title in multiplayer. And below, you can find a gameplay video from its latest WIP version.
Now before continuing, we should note that this mod is still in an early state. As you will see, there are numerous de-sync issues. Again, this is to be expected. Nevertheless, the video can give you a glimpse at playing CP2077 with your friends.
Sadly, there is no ETA on when this mod will come out. Since it’s currently in a pre-alpha stage, we can assume that it won’t come out this year. Realistically, we should expect some beta sessions in 2025 and a full release in 2026 or 2027.
We should also note that CyberMP will not offer a co-op mode for quests. In other words, you won’t be able to play the game’s campaign with your friends. Instead, think of CyberMP as GTA Online.
All in all, this looks like a really ambitious mod. And, since CDPR canceled its plans of an official multiplayer mode for CP277, this will be the only way to play the game with your friends. Ah, the beauty of mods.
If you’re into Cyberpunk 2077, there are some other cool mods you should check out. For instance, you can download the Enhanced Photo Mode Unlocker. There’s also a mod that allows cars to fly, a mod that can significantly improve the game’s draw distance, and other mods that can open up new areas to explore. Oh, and don’t forget these mods that allow you to play as Ciri from The Witcher 3.
To improve the game’s graphics, you can use Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked or this other HD Texture Pack that improves all trees. There’s also another pack that improves the textures of almost all buildings, terrain, and environments. However, these packs don’t work together. Therefore, you’ll have to use only one of them.
Additionally, there’s a mod that adds realistic ragdoll physics to finishing moves. Plus, Law Enforcement Overhaul is a mod that enhances the game’s Police System. And there’s even a mod that integrates the OpenAI API which enables ChatGPT support. Responsive NPCs is another cool mod that enables dynamic NPC reactions. Don’t sleep on it as it can enhance your gaming experience. There is also this mod that fixes the game’s broken Ray Tracing Reflections. And finally, this mod restores 100 NPCs that were cut from the game.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
