Capcom has released a brand new gameplay trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds at the Summer Game Fest 2024. This short but sweet gameplay trailer shows off some of the monsters you’ll be fighting in this new monster hunting game.
Monster Hunter Wilds tells the story of a mysterious new land and the people and creatures that inhabit it, their ecosystems and ways of life brought to you in stunning detail.
In this game, you’ll be able to experience this story with deeper immersion than ever before. For the first time in the series, the hunter you play as will be fully voiced as they interact with other characters in the story. Cutscenes and gameplay will transition seamlessly between each other without loading screens, resulting in a truly cinematic hunting experience.
Each hunting locale in Monster Hunter Wilds will feature an environment with two dynamically changing identities: one in which the region is harsh and unforgiving, where ravenous monsters fight for limited resources—and another in which the region is vibrant and brimming with life.
Changes in the environment also means changes for the monsters and wildlife that live there, so you’ll be running into new surprises around every corner.
Capcom plans to release Monster Hunter Wilds in 2025.
