Cristian Fabian Munoz Isla has released a new video from his upcoming Doom mod that aims to bring NetherRealm’s classic MK games on id Software’s FPS. This new video shows off UMK3 that was recently added to this mod. According to Cristian, the global version of this mod will include Mortal Kombat 1, Mortal Kombat 2 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. From what we’ve seen so far, MK1 feels great, whereas MK2 and UMK3 have some latency and hit detection issues. We don’t know if Cristian can fix them, but they do sometimes break the overall experience. Still, MK1 looks good so that’s a good thing at least. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
