Sony has released a new cinematic and a gameplay trailer for its new multiplayer PVP first-person shooter, Concord. According to Sony, its GaaS/online games will be released on PC alongside their PlayStation versions. So, expect it to hit the PC at launch.
Concord is described as having a unique universe of vibrant worlds with a rich cast of colorful characters. And, since I’m not a fan of this type of games, this isn’t my cup of tea. Still, given the huge success of Helldivers 2 on PC, Sony may have another sleeper hit on its hands.
From what I can see, this feels like a hero shooter. Every player will have his/her own skill. From what I can see, this feels similar to Overwatch. Or at least that’s the vibes I got from it.
Players will take on rival Freegunner crews in daring space heists in six different online 5v5 PVP modes across a variety of exotic and fantastical maps that span the different planets of the ever-expanding Concord Galaxy.
Concord will be released on August 23rd on PC.
