Electronic Arts has released the official reveal trailer for the next part in its NFS series. This new NFS game will be called Need for Speed Heat and will release later this year on the PC. The game will be using the Frostbite Engine and is being developed by Ghost Games.
According to the first leaks, players will assume the role of a female protagonist. The game will pack a darker and more serious story, and Ghost will use this game as the basis for all the upcoming Need for Speed Games.
While the game will be open-word, it will not feature a day/night cycle. Instead, the weather will be changing only after completing events.
Furthermore, this won’t be an always-online game.
Now do note that the aforementioned information is based on a leak. Apart from the game’s debut trailer, EA has not revealed any more details about Need for Speed Heat.
We’ll be sure to update this story once we receive more official details from Electronic Arts, so stay tuned for more!
