Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in which developers discuss ship customization, recruitment, and naval combat. In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, players can take a ship and explore the islands of ancient Greece.
The map in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be huge and since the sea needs to be seamless (as this time it’s open everywhere around players), Ubisoft has made some tech improvements to its wave and water simulation system. As such, waves will be coming and dying on the beaches and there will be big waves when players go far away in the ocean.
Naval combat, according to the developers, will be more fast-paced, more closed-range and more intense than before. People will shoot javelins and arrows and the boats will have very high accelerations so that they can be more mobile.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey releases on October 5th!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
