YouTube’s ‘Assassin JorRaptor’ has shared a video that shows off the environmental destruction, lighting, weather, and world of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This video will give you a pretty good idea of what this new AC game will look like. So, be sure to check it out.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set in 16th-century Japan during the Azuchi-Momoyama era. In the game, you’ll follow the connected stories of Naoe and Yasuke. As Japan faces the chaos of the late Sengoku period, the two characters will find their shared fate and help bring a new future to Japan.
Yasuke will be the character you’ll have to use for action, whereas Naoe will be the character for stealthy approaches. Thus, players will be able to approach missions in two ways. They can either go into a head-on fight or sneak their way. This is similar to Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, where Evie was better at stealth and Jacob was better at combat.
Ubisoft will release Assassin’s Creed Shadows on November 15th. Moreover, the game won’t require a mandatory internet connection to play. In other words, it will be playable offline. Or at least that’s what the devs claim.
For what it’s worth, Ubi hasn’t shared yet the game’s official PC requirements. From what I know, it will be using the Anvil Engine. And, so far, the game does look nice. So, I’m curious to see whether or not it will run better than AC: Valhalla. Has Ubisoft made any major CPU optimizations? Will it also use any Ray Tracing effects? And what about DLSS 3/FSR 3.0?
Finally, since this is Ubisoft we’re talking about, the game will almost certainly have Denuvo. As we’ve seen in the past, Denuvo can introduce some stutters to the games. So, will AC: Shadows suffer from stuttering issues?
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
