Remedy has released a new developer diary for its new upcoming third-person action adventure game, Control, that features a few minutes of new gameplay footage. Control is one of our most anticipated games of 2019 and it looks just as good as Quantum Break.
In this dev diary, Remedy’s studio members, including well-renown Creative Director Sam Lake, discuss the game’s setting called The Oldest House which is the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control, an ever-changing world within a location where nothing is what it seems to be.
Control is set in a unique and ever-changing world that juxtaposes our familiar reality with the strange and unexplainable. After a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an otherworldly threat, players will take on the role of Jesse Faden, the new Director struggling to regain Control.
This sandbox-style, gameplay-driven experience built on the proprietary Northlight engine promises to challenge players to master a combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts and reactive environments while fighting through the deep and mysterious worlds Remedy is known and loved for.
Enjoy (the new gameplay footage starts at 2:45)!
