At GDC 2019, Bethesda and id Software showcased a new gameplay demo for Doom Eternal. This new gameplay demo shows off a brand new map that we’ve never seen before, and I’m pretty sure that all Doom Eternal fans will find it cool.
Set to an all-new pulse pounding soundtrack composed by Mick Gordon, players will fight across dimensions as they slay new and classic demons with powerful new weapons and abilities.
Doom Eternal promises to bring the ultimate combination of speed and power with the next leap in push-forward, first-person combat. The game will be powered by id Tech 7 Engine and promises to feature levels/places we have never been before in a Doom game, 10X times higher geometric detail than its predecessor, as well as greater texture fidelity than id Software has ever put on screen.
From what we know so far, DOOM Eternal will not feature a SnapMap Editor though it will support the Vulkan API. The game will also be playable at QuakeCon 2019.
Enjoy (the new gameplay footage starts at 40:33)!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
