Earlier this week, we shared a download link for CryZENx’s Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Demo in Unreal Engine 5.2. And today, we bring you another Ocarina of Time Remake in Unreal Engine 5, this time from artist RwanLink.
RwanLink has shared a 20-minute video, showcasing the game’s Goron City. The video starts with a lengthy in-engine cut-scene, and at 13:52 we get some third-person gameplay exploration footage.
Now contrary to CryZENx’s remake, this one is not available for download. And that makes me sad because, to be honest, this remake appears to feature better graphics. From what we can see, there are higher-resolution textures, and everything looks a bit more next-gen-ish than CryZENx’s remake.
Anyway, I’m certain that a lot of Zelda fans will find this video interesting. And no, the next Zelda game in Nintendo Switch 2 will not look as good as this. This is what a Zelda game could look like on a powerful console/PC, and not on a Nintendo Switch. From what we know, the next Switch won’t be able to compete with PS5 or Xbox Series X. So yeah, these visuals will not be achievable on a Nintendo console for a long time.
Speaking of Unreal Engine 5 demos, we suggest downloading these other fan remakes. For instance, you can download a Superman UE5 Demo, a Halo 3: ODST Remake, and a Spider-Man UE 5 Demo. There is also a fan remaster of STALKER in Unreal Engine 5. Yesterday, we also shared a remake of the classic FPS Blood in Epic’s engine. Let’s also not forget this remake of Halo: Combat Evolved’s Halo level in UE5. And lastly, we have The Lord of the Rings: Conquest Reimagined in Unreal Engine 5. All of them look cool, so make sure to give them a go.
Enjoy this latest gameplay footage for this fan-made remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in Unreal Engine 5, and stay tuned for more!
