A few days ago, Frogwares released a new video in which it showcased the GDC build of its upcoming Lovecraftian game, The Sinking City. Frogwares plans to showcase the game at both GDC and EGX, and this video will give you an idea of that demo build that will be present at those events.
The Sinking City is a game of investigation and mystery taking place in a fictional open world inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft. Players will step into the shoes of a 1920s private investigator who finds himself in the city of Oakmont Massachusetts.
Back in November 2017, we also informed you about a city generator tool that will be available at launch. Thanks to this tool, players will be able to create their own cities.
There is no ETA yet on when this new Lovecraftian game will release. Our guess is that Frogwares will release it in 2018, though it may slip into 2019.
Enjoy!
