In November 2019, we informed you about a new Terminator fan game, Tech-Com: 2029. And today, we are happy to report that its development team has shared a new gameplay video for it. This gameplay video gives us a glimpse at its driving mechanics/sections.
Tech-Com: 2029 takes place in 2029, pitting the future war between Skynet and the Human Resistance. Players will take control of Tech-Com soldier, Kyle Reese, DN38146. Therefore, gamers will play through the events that lead him to his final mission in 1984.
The team behind it aims to release this game for free to everyone once it’s complete. For what it’s worth, the team has not received yet any C&D letter. And, while this is certainly a good thing, we really don’t know how Skydance Media will react to such a free fan game.
There is currently no ETA on when Tech-Com: 2029 will come out.
Enjoy the following gameplay video and stay tuned for more!

John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
