IIapagokc and a team of indie devs have released a new gameplay video for the upcoming Alien fan game, Alien: Hope for the future. My guess is that this gameplay video showcases the game’s latest build.
Alien: Hope for the future is an Immersive sim project with elements of survival-horror and tactics. This isn’t a commercial game, meaning that it will be distributed for free to everyone once it’s complete.
The story of the game takes place in “Hadly’s Hope” colony , before and during the xenomorph incident. Therefore, players will assume the role of one of the colonists. Players will have to survive by finding some supplies for them and other colonists. Players will also be able to avoid or fight xenomorphs.
The game is using the Unity Engine and there is no ETA on when it will come out. There is also no word on whether IIapagokc will release a public demo for it prior to its full release. It’s also worth noting that 20th Century Studios and SEGA have not shut down this project yet.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more (gameplay footage starts at 11:21)!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
