Over the past few days, Microsoft and The Coalition have been sharing some multiplayer trailer for Gears 5. As such, below you can find three videos in which the companies have showcased the game’s Escalation mode, as well as two maps that will be featured in its upcoming Tech Test.
Going into slightly more details, in Escalation, two teams of five players battle to control three rings. Escalation mode was also present in Gears of War 4 but it has been evolved/improved in Gears 5. Players will now have more strategic options and increased reliance on teamwork.
Gears 5’s Escalation Mode will be fully revealed at the ELEAGUE Summer Invitational on July 13-14.
As said, the other two videos showcase the District and Training Grounds multiplayer maps that will be available during the game’s Tech Test (which begins on July 19th).
The PC Technical Test will give The Coalition a critical opportunity to get the game onto PCs with unique combinations of hardware and software at scale, something that it will allow the team to fix/address tech issues prior the game’s launch.
Enjoy!
