New leaked gameplay for Battlefield 6 shows new urban map

Two new leaked videos surfaced for Battlefield 6’s latest Playtest, showcasing a new urban map called Gibraltar. As with the previously leaked videos, they are of low quality. So, expect a lot of compression artifacts (which kind of sucks).

Going into more details, the Gibraltar map is a small map with the background scenery looking similar to the game’s concept art. In this map, players can destroy buildings and various objects.

And well, that’s it. These videos do not showcase anything particularly impressive. Still, some of our BF fans may find them interesting. So, if you are one of them, you can go ahead and take a look at them.

Battlefield 6 will be powered by the Frostbite Engine and promises to have an amazing destruction system. I was really impressed with the destruction I saw in the previous leaked videos. In a way, the game reminded me of BF2: Bad Company. And that’s a good thing.

As I’ve already reported, the classes will be coming back. After the huge backlash Battlefield 2042 received for its Operators, DICE is going back to the class system. So, that’s another big win for BF fans.

EA has not officially announced this new Battlefield game yet. So, chances are it will not be called Battlefield 6. However, until we get its official title, that’s how we’ll be referring to it.

There is also no ETA for when this new BF game will come out. In theory, we should expect it at the end of 2025. However, I won’t be surprised if it slips into 2026.

EA has not taken down the previously leaked videos of BF6. But, since this shows a new map, it might DMCA them. So, be sure to watch them while they are still live.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
