Last week, Human Head Studios released a teaser video for Rune: Ragnarok that gave us a glimpse at its combat mechanics. And yesterday, the team released another video, featuring some more gameplay footage. This second video also focuses on the game’s combat mechanics, and showing some additional decapitations.
As the team noted, and after its fan backlash, it made some changes to the game’s combat over the course of the last week. This video also shows a new environment, different (and more) weapons, and the actual speed of our combat.
Rune: Ragnarok is the sequel to the 17-year old Rune game and is set in a dangerous universe where gods, beasts, and the last remaining humans struggle to survive. The game promises to combine brutal melee combat with rich, Norse-inspired mythology.
Enjoy!
