Modder ‘Halk Hogan PL’ has released a new video for the upcoming new version of his amazing graphics/texture mod for The Witcher 3, The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project. This new video compares some of the textures that have been overhauled with the vanilla ones, and the visual difference is a bit shocking.
For those not aware with this mod, The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project aims to overhaul CD Projekt RED’s role-playing game, featuring high quality meshes with a lot of details (most of them are created from scratch and good optimalization is preserved), very high quality detailed textures with great sharpness and performance, without any unnecessary VRAM losses, very high quality accurate normal maps and specially customized materials for all reworked stuff.
In this latest version, Halk Hogan PL improved the the textures for deer, rocks, carts, horses, rock stairs, and woods. The end result is gorgeous and we are pretty sure that a lot of The Witcher fans will appreciate the modder’s dedication to this project.
Halk Hogan PL will announce more details, as well as a release date, for this latest version of The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project soon so stay tuned for more. Until then, enjoy the following comparison video!
