Earlier today, we shared a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Fallout New Vegas Remake in Fallout 4. However, we have another trailer for another Fallout fan remake in the Fallout 4 Engine. This other Fallout remake is Fallout 4: Capital Wasteland.
This latest trailer for Fallout 4: Capital Wasteland showcases the Point Look DLC from Fallout 3. Thus, we can assume that alongside Fallout 3, the team will also remake its DLC.
As the team noted, this is currently a side project. Moreover, this trailer features early alpha footage and is subject to change. Now I don’t know why the team is bothering with the DLC when the main game is not finished yet, but there you have it.
Fallout 4: Capital Wasteland is a total conversion mod that aims to remake Fallout 3 in the Fallout 4 engine. This mod promises to feature all the quests, dialogues and locations from Fallout 3, and the team will be experimenting with the newest weather options in Fallout 4’s Creation Engine to establish the same grimy and oppressive tone as the original game.
There is currently no ETA when this Fallout 3 fan remake in the Fallout 4 Engine will come out.
