A number of new game trailers got released yesterday during the Guerrilla Collective 2021 event. As such, we’ve decided to share most of them in one big article.
Trifox is a game set in a colorful world inspired by classic platformers. In this game, you play as a multi-talented fox on a quest to restore and return peace to his recently invaded and plundered home.
El Paso, Elsewhere is a supernatural neo-noir third-person shooter. In this game, you will hunt werewolves, fallen angels, and other damned creatures in a vivid slow-motion love letter to action classics. Players will fight their way through a reality-shifting motel, floor by bloody floor. Additionally, they can save the victims of Draculae, lord of the vampires, and destroy him.
Rubi: The Wayward Mira is a 2D action-platformer game based in a lush pixel world where science and magic come together. Featuring ability-based progression, Rubi is a Metroidvania at its core, but features nonlinear gameplay with multiple playstyles and endings.
Omni is a single-player journey of discovery through an ancient world of wonders. The game is full of puzzles, secrets and obstacles to overcome, where the power of a lost civilisation will carry you through forests, deserts and tundras. Moreover, there is a demo you can download and play.
Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo is a narrative and adventure game, freely inspired by the movie masterpiece directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The game will feature an exclusive, original story about obsession, memory, manipulation and madness. Players will investigate through the vision of three characters. Additionally, they will explore several timelines to cross-check the events and separate reality from deceptive memories.
Lastly, I’ve also included the story trailer for Chernobylite. Chernobylite is a science-fiction survival horror RPG, mixing the free exploration of its disturbing world with challenging combat, unique crafting, and non-linear storytelling. In this game, you play as Igor, a former employee of the Chernobyl Power Plant. Igor returns to the Exclusion Zone to investigate the mysterious disappearance of his fiancee, Tatiana, 30 years prior.
John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
